Il 25 maggio del 1983 veniva rilasciato, dalla Warner Bros. Records, il primo album in studio da solista di Ronnie James Dio come Dio.

Il prossimo 10 luglio, invece, lo stesso avrebbe compiuto 80 anni. Ed è per questo che: l'8 di luglio la Rhino Records rilascerà la Super Deluxe Edition di Holy Diver.
