Sonata Antartika is a melodic death metal/power metal/metalcore/comedy metal band from Athens, Greece.
The band was created by Alexandros Argyris (guitars) and Marinos Tarnanas initially and became soon a full band with the addition of Ω (guitars), Joni Moas (drums) and Wartooth( supposed to be bass) They kicked off by covering several well-known anime intros and greek pop-folk songs and they quickly moved on to creating original songs, leading to the recording of a full-length album, ‘Sonata In Troll Minor’ with the addition of Andre Boutos behind the mic this time.
