„Desolation“ – Is the title of the third album by German metal band Nailgun and it includes 10 brand new songs! “Desolation” shows a consistent further development to its predecessors “Paindustry” and “New World Chaos”.

In 2014, NAILGUN sound straighter and harder than ever, including more elements of Thrash metal, bruising and bulky guitar riffs and they nail down their songs in a way you haven’t heard the band before.
Grooving, fast and aggressive parts, including shouts and double bass drum, meet complex, melancholic-balladic moments.
You can find the typical NAILGUN-sound in every part of the songs: Edgy and fierce riffs, catchy lead guitars and melodies, powerful vocal lines and anthemic choruses.

Again recorded, mixed and mastered by their long-time producer Tom Müller at Flatliners Studio who gave the album its signature tone.
The album artwork is modern, artistic and is a straight-forward pictorial representation of the title, made by Season Zero, again.

Since 2008, NAILGUN realize their vision of a metal band, combining different styles of heavy metal music, without being fixed in a destined genre. The most obvious characterization, related to the NAILGUN-style, might be “Dark Heavy Metal”.
