I Wildernessking sono una band sudafricana di Città del Capo e nascono nel 2011 con il nome Heathens. Il gruppo suona post black metal con sonorità di tipo atmospheric. Nel 2012 cambiano il nome in Wildernessking e pubblicano il primo album "The Writing of Gods in the Sand" al quale seguono due EP "... and the Night Swept Us Away" del 2012 e "The Devil Within" del 2014. Per il nuovo album bisogna attendere il 2016, anno di pubblicazione di "Mystical Future".
