The current lineup of the GDS has existed since May 2013, when the four members met, with their own distinctive musical vein, where diversities became significant in terms of influences and attitude towards music: their ultimate objective was to create something that could reach collective emotions as close as possible and not to reach a simple and insignificant comromise. In 2014 they produced their first demo, called “3.24”, that was the first step of their musical path: in March 2015 they produced their first CD, called “Heed”, obtained thanks to the first place in the contest “SALENTO ROCK METAL CONTEST”. They have been on different stages in Apulia and not only and they had the pleasure to share them with eterogeneous groups like the ORK (being their members KING CRIMSON, PORCUPINE TREE, MARTA SUI TUBI, OBAKE), GOD IS AN ASTRONAUT, DUFRESNE, NERO DI MARTE, MARNERO, NOVEMBRE, DEVOTION, ZIPPO, DARK LUNACY and many others. The final sound is widely influenced by post-rock, namely inspired by the RUSSIAN CIRCLES and close to the sound of alternative metal, being the TOOL, GOJIRA, A PERFECT CIRCLES and DEFTONES. Everything is mixed with unconventional sound experiments, being the MARS VOLTA and BATTLES two of the main sources of inspiration.
