The 4 musicians are all over the age of 35 and can therefore look back on decades of experience in musical life. The history goes back a long way to the 80s. The core of the band was found in the early 2000s and has been touring the country with cover rock.

When the Coverrock project broke up in 2015, the remaining 4 boys from Augsburg were at a musical crossroads.
Not making music was not an option. Mental season was born.
In which direction it was going - was not clear. However, it was clear that no further musicians would be added. Numerous technical options have been tried and discarded after a while. It took almost 3 years until the technical implementation proved to be suitable for live use.But now they have found their way. With a bass player who plays the keyboard simultaneously and in parallel, Mental Season probably have a unique selling point.

Mental Season started recording the first CD with 6 songs in 2019. 2 more songs were added during the recording process. It was mixed and mastered at the end of 2019. The CD release is on April 10, 2020.
