orming from the pubescent remains of early metal meanderings, INTELLECT DEVOURER coagulated in early 1992, showcasing the vantage of isolation Australian brutal metal bands will seemingly forever hold.

After some live shows alongside bands such as BESTIAL WARLUST, MARTIRE and PARAMAECIUM, rehearsal tape trading and a minor line-up change, the 'Prayer To Thessaly' single was recorded and distributed late 1993. Soon after, the 'Horselustvulgaris' 3 track demo was recorded in 1993 and made available in early 1994.

The band split mutually towards the end of 1994, laid to rest until a temporary resurrection in 1999. During the next 18 months the band recorded and released another demo cassette 'Mundus Intellectualis', which contained material written from 1991-1994 and a brand new track. It was not long after this demo that the band once again fell apart.

What was left for dead, re-emerged in 2012, to complete the legacy that had been begun so long before. Boasting 2 albums worth of early material, the band have fired up for the final slaying, beginning NOW!
