Part of this Machine is a Gothenburg based progressive rock act created in the divide between hope and despair. Lyrics and music are one inseparable unit, built up around themes like loneliness, vulnerability and mankind's gloomy reality. Remotely inspired by acts like King Crimson, Pink Floyd and Genesis mixed with modern elements of ambience. Besides the obvious guitar centered sound and the classic keyboard performances, you’ll find traces of shoegaze and various other electronic-like genres. The backing vocal arrangements draw on influences from bands like Queen, Crosby Stills & Nash and The Eagles.
