GREYHAWK’s quest for Heavy Metal glory began in 2018, when five Metal warriors (featuring alumni from bands like Skelator, Aggression, Prelude to a Pistol, Archmage, Prophets of Addiction) from around the continent met on the shores of the pacific northwest and set out to bring their musical vision to life.
Equal parts traditional Metal, power metal and shred, GREYHAWK blends the best parts of these styles together to create high energy, dynamic heavy metal music that fans of Dio, Yngwie Malmsteen, Racer X, Manowar, Visigoth and Judas Priest will rejoice in. Having released their debut EP “Ride Out” in October 2018 to acclaim from both critics and fans alike.
In early 2020, GREYHAWK finished recording their debut album “Keepers of the Flame”, which led them to sign with Fighter Records. This full-length album saw release in July of 2020, and despite being released at the height of a global pandemic got rave reviews from media and fans alike!
In autumn 2021, GREYHAWK reentered the studio and forged a new EP entitled “Call of the Hawk”, which continues the epic Metal stylings of the previous releases but adds some fresh new elements as well. After this EP, released in February 2022, they began to write what's their 2nd full album "Thunderheart" which was recorded during 2023. This new work will be released, again through Fighter Records in April 2024, GREYHAWK combine equal parts classic Heavy Metal, shred and Power Metal with some modern elements, blazing guitar solos, driving rhythms and soaring operatic vocals, harkening back to Heavy Metal’s glory days.
After the release of "Thunderheart", Anthony Corso replaced the vocalist Rev Taylor, who is changing the trajectory of his music career to focus on his opera performances.
