AVALAND is an Epic and Symphonic Metal Opera, created, written and composed by the young Adrien G. Gzagg (22 years old - Grenoble - France).
The idea of creating a Metal-Opera came to Adrien after discovering Avantasia and Ayreon. Inspired by Heroic Fantasy, History, mythologies, esoterism, and his own feelings and life, Adrien decided to create an epic story with 8 characters. For the music, the composer draw his inspirations in many various band like Avantasia, Ayreon, Edguy, Helloween, Savatage, Asia, Symphony X, Alan Parson’s Project, Winger, Yes, Adagio ...
Adrien reunited four musicians with him to record and perform Avaland’s First Album : Theater Of Sorcery.
For this first album, Adrien also called talented vocal and guitar guests : Ralf Scheepers (Primal Fear), Zak Stevens (Savatage/TSO), Zaher Zorgati (Myrath), Emmanuelson (Rising Steel), Stéphan Forté (Adagio), Madie (Nightmare) and other great musicians !
The new album "Crimson Tyranny" is out in 2023 via Rockshots Records.
