Leaden Tears is a Gothic symphonic metal project born in Italy.

Different experiences and several genres, such as classical music, rock, progressive, alternative, affect the sound of the band, and they are melted with the addition of Gothic atmospheres and metal tones.

Guitar riffs are blended with synthesizers and compositions of symphonic orchestra, while bass and drums play a fundamental role to reach the perfect melting pot.
Lyrics try to provide a reflection about modern-day life through fictitious tales and characters, generally taken from novels and from the world of Literature, often including a gloomy background and Gothic elements. They are performed by Angela, a mezzo-soprano singer, and Riccardo, who supply a contrasting shade with his voice.
