Fortis Ventus is a symphonic metal band based in Athens, Greece. Their music is a combination of symphonic and cinematic elements along with soundtrack influences. Formed back in 2015, the band started composing their first ep "Haunted Heart" which was released on November of 2017.
In early 2018, due to creative differences, the band underwent significant changes. The driving forces that remained were composer, arranger, keyboardist George Halliwell and vocalist, lyricist Nancy Mos. Breathing new life into their work,the duo met Gregory Koilakos who would take on the role of guitarist. Together the band started recording their new album "Vertalia" with Gregory recording both electric and bass guitars for the album. Since the completion of the album the band has employed session musicians for bass guitar and drums and are ready to show off their enthusiasm on stage.
