On a misty day of September 2014 Nornír ́s roots were anchored and the first whispers were released. During winter of the same year three songs were recorded and set free in June 2015. After signing a label contract Nornír started recording four more creations in the following winter, but due to severe complications with the former label the EP had to rest until March 2017. It was not until Northern Silence Productions decided to support Nornír that “Urd” could be released. Another seven songs were recorded in summer 2018 and the album “Verdandi” was released via Northern Silence Productions in February 2019. After focusing on live ritual in the following years, Nornír returned to the studio in 2023 and laid down ten new songs which will be unveiled in winter 2023.
"Skuld" is the band's highly anticipated second full length, and the culmination of the Three Nornes trilogy.
