ANIMATIONS is a progressive metal band from Poland formed in 2006 by Bartek Bisaga (bass), Kuba Dêbski (guitars), Tomek Konopka (keyboards) and Pawe Larysz (drums). Back in January 2006 the band had started under the name of Labyrinth.pl and only played instrumental music. Around this same time Bartek decided to leave the band and left the other members to record a promo copy without a bass player.

In spring of 2006 the band reunited with original bass player Bartek and by the end of June the promo album was already finished. They only managed to make almost a hundred copies that were sent to magazines, radio stations and different parts of the world. The promo was well received and gathered decent reviews, something that took them by surprise.

In October 2006 the band began recording their first full length and by the end of March 2007 the album would be already finished. Around this same time the band changed it's from Labyrinth.pl to ANIMATIONS. Their self-titled, self released debut was released in July of the same year and again received praises from the progressive metal circles.

In March 2008 the band introduced their newest member Darek Bartosiewicz who would take the vocalist spot and as of this moment the band is working on their follow up album.
