In 2024, the label 20 Buck Spin signed a “mysterious” artist named Neon Nightmare, whose debut single “Lost Silver” pays clear homage to Type O Negative, right down to its artwork. The artist’s bio also references Type O Negative’s hometown of Brooklyn, as well as the hometowns of Black Sabbath, Glenn Danzig and the Misfits, and the Delta blues.
