VARRAS is the solo band of the Greek guitar virtuoso and songwriter Costas Varras. Costas Varras started his career in 1999 when he formed his first band Perpetual. In 2001 he started playing local Shows in Athens and in 2004 his first solo album Overlord Perpetual was released worldwide.
In 2006 Costas Varras moved to Hollywood, California to pursue a career in the music business. In 2008 he graduated from Musicians Institute and a bit later he reformed his band in L.A.. In 2009 he traveled to Kent, England to record an album with Chris Tsangarides.That album was never released though. In 2017 he entered the studio of Bob Katsionis and they recorded together the album Neon-
Classical. The album was released as VARRAS-Neon-Classical in 2018 and in 2022 was rereleased by LION
MUSIC. Costas first started working with LION MUSIC in 2020 when they first released the single Rock You Hard featuring the legendary singer Mark Boals. Costas Varras wrote all the Music/Lyrics and the arrangements and he also produced the record together with Co/producer Leonidas Petropoulos.
