Sorrows Path have released 4 power-doom albums and are considered as one of the most well known Greek metal bands. When they were ready to record their fifth album, the co-founder and guitarist Kostas Salomidis decided to leave the band for musical reasons.
In August 2022, Kostas formed his own band Distorted Reflection. They are totally dedicated to his unique doom vision, but even more 'heavy'. So now DISTORTED REFLECTION is Kostas' musical path. He will also take over the vocals for the first time, and Distorted Reflection has
other great musicians in the band as well. Tomas Arfert (Candlemass, Krux) created the logo and also took care of the artwork for the band's first album. It was titled “Doom Rules Eternally” and was released in early 2024, immediately proving more successful than the later releases of the
previous band. After almost exactly two years, the follow-up “DOOM ZONE” is now being released. For this type of music, the songs are short and concise without endless instrumental orgies, but instead intense and emotionally presented!
