We Are Waves are an alternative rock act with a strong electro attitude. Their self-titled EP is produced by Marco Trentacoste (Lacuna Coil, Le Vibrazioni, Deasonika, Rezophonic) and published by Sounday.

Lyrics talk about failure and redemption of the human being, his frailty, his reaction. A violent, intense and painful process. Their sound comes from the combination of a grunge mood and trance/rave culture.

They take shape in 2011 after 10 years of activity as "Overock". They made hundreds gigs in Italy, United Kingdom, Russia, opening for Underworld, Pitchshifter, Planet Funk, Afterhours, Verdena, NoGuru, TARM. They've published 3 EP (In/Away, 2002, Acid Sounds In A Groove Box, 2005, Unplugged #001, 2010), a full- length (Warp It, 2007 Incipit Recordings) and produced the soundtrack of the surrealistic Man Ray short movie "Emak Bakia".
