CAST IRON plays true Heavy Metal the way it should be, uncompromising, raw and honest, with a sense for melody and catchy riffs. Taking influence from the glorious old-school Metal Gods, classic NWOBHM acts and also more obscure and forgotten masters of Metal, they set to deliver an alternative for the polished and soulless mainstream metal scene, but also for those who think the current underground maybe too focused on Black or Death/Thrash Metal. Heavy Metal or no Metal at all!!!

The band was formed in 2004, when Jori wanted to realize his vision of something that was severely lacking in the current Finnish Metal scene: a real and honest HEAVY METAL band, armed with leather, chains & rivets, striking down opponents with powerful and catchy riffs, blazing solos and melodic double guitar leads, roaring bass lines, thundering drums and rough edged vocals. In the age where commercial metal music has become a product, made from the minds of businessmen and presented with sterile production and soulless execution, rather than artists who have uncompromising passion and love for the music and lifestyle, CAST IRON is here to show real Heavy Metal is still alive, without being retro or having a lame "tongue-in-cheek" attitude.
