The Heatlers are born in 2008 in Italy, Pistoia, a little town near Florence, from a greasy idea of Tommy ''Lester Garofalo'' Enfisema and Vinnie Colosimo, singer and drummer of Jurisdick!tion, a local left politically oriented thrash/hardcore band. They wanted to give up with politics and create a r'nr' band, devoted only to the only abuse not yet sung by r'n'r heroes along the decades, but practiced by millions: THE FOOD ABUSE. So they chose the MIGHTY BOAR (it's the bad guy on the front of their first Ep) as mascotte and started reharsing with some guys to write songs about the adventures of fat losers with their miserable lives dedicated to the consumption of every kind of junk food. The name HEATLERS has nothing to do with the fuckin' fuhrer Adolf: instead, is a twist of the term 'heater', something done in the style of the Beatles monicker. The sound of Heatlers is raw and fast, a mix between Motorhead, punk and a bluesy touch of seventies hard rock: in 2009 they publish THE HEATLERS, a sonic four piece assault with songs like PORK OIL ADDICKTION, KEBABBED (PREPARE TO BE...), FRIED CHICKEN OVERDOSE and CHEESEBURGER HOLOCAUST. Their 500 copies first press is soon sold out. After releasing the Ep, Heatlers start working on new songs for the full lenght and play live all around Italy, till, in Tuscany, they meet and play with RF7 and become friends with the californian hardcore legends. Now they're on recording: their first full lenght will include alla the re-recorded and emproved tracks of the ep and songs like ANTIVEGAN MILITIA, POP CORN POLLUTION, TOO FAT FINGERS FOR TELEPHONE BUTTONS... and even a ballad, dedicated to the story of a very fat and nerdy student of an american college who falls in love with the cheerleader of the football school team. Not loved back, of course. The name of the album will be CHEESEBURGER HOLOCAUST and it will be ready in few months. In the meanwhile... the Heatlers cover 'Amore e fuoco' of the italian heavy metal legend Strana Officina for the 'Officina dei sogni' compilation and release a double shot for the Scare America Compilation 'Travelling with George' with Fried Chicken Overdose and Cheeseburger Holocaust, along wuith Rf7, Simbol Six and many other american punk hardcore heroes.
