Himora takes you on a ride back to a time when rock music was interesting and fun! Good songs and great musicianship to quote a live review; "A gourmet dish served by fork-lift" :)

Even though "Argue All You Want" is their first outing under the Himora moniker, these guys have been playing together, on and off, for about a decade.

Apart from a short stint in the US in 2004, and a couple of Norwegian tours as backing band for Eric Martin (Mr. Big) Himora has somehow slipped under the radar as far as commercial success goes. Still they've maintained a loyal (if exclusive) following and are known to be a supertight and powerful live act. This translates well on a lot of the tracks on "AAYW" The arrangements are solid and Himora delivers a classic rock package that is both confident and rough, even beautiful in places.

This four-piece out of Oslo, Norway, juggles 80s powerpop against a classic 70s rock swagger, like Cheap Trick meets Bad Company with a bit of old school Aerosmith / James Gang funkiness thrown in there too.

Inspired by the usual suspects, Himora still put their own stamp on things. The discerning listener will recognize several influences, but for the most part, Himora dance the night away in their own right. If you´re into 70s - 80s melodic rock that veers slightly off the beaten path and if you enjoy the occasional wisecrack lyric, (think Joe Walsh, Fagen, Zappa) Himora might just be your new favourite band.
