The current Lineup consists of: D.S. (Vocals), M.L. (Guitar), J.L. (Synths/Bass) and D.S. (Drums).

After eight years of band history, there is a lot to tell about Kain. The band was able to prove its skill on several big stages, such as the Metalsfests Loreley and Dessau, the Eisenwahn festival, the Boarstream Open-Air or the TNT Open-Air. The band played as support acts for bands like Nocte Obducta, Eisregen, Der Weg einer Freiheit, Six Feet Under and many more.

After a published EP in 2009, the band successfully released their first full-length album OMEGA via MDD-Records in 2012. The album was followed up by interviews in magazines like ‘Rock Hard’ or ‘Legacy’ and by the publication of the song ‘Blutgericht’ on the Legacy sampler.

In 2015, the next full-length album is going to be released via MDD-Records. Over the years, the band has been progressing musically and has now finally established itself in the deathened Black Metal genre. Supported by synthesizers, Kain is playing an aggressive, atmospheric black metal, while using German lyrics.

The band Kain is not in any way interested in conveying political opinions or an ideology with its music.
