Tempestuous Fall was founded in September, 2011. The idea for a funeral doom / doom-death project had been lying dormant since 2001. Taking inspiration from the funeral doom legends from Finland, as well as Disembowelment and early My Dying Bride, 5 tracks were written and recorded between September 2011 and March 2012.

The debut album is entitled “The Stars Would Not Awake You”, and features guest growling vocals on the opening track “Old & Grey” by BM, as well as violins courtesy of Renee Hunter.
