Jac Dalton was born and raised in North Carolina before calling Adelaide home. He has always been a world-class performer and musician but supplements this passion with his love of being both a chiropractor and Functional Neurologist.
His schooling enables him to be useful in many arenas as he holds undergrad degrees in Human Anatomy, Marine Biology and Oceanography, a Doctorate in Chiropractic and a PhD in Functional Neurology. His entertainment background includes working with a wealth of talent such as Kenny Rogers, Dolly Parton, Suzanne Somers, Air Supply’s David Moyse, and Rose Tattoo’s Paul DeMarco and Rob Riley, Mark Evans (AC/DC), Russell Morris, John and Rick Brewster, Buzz Bidstrup and Chris Bailey (The Angels), Gwyn Ashton (BB King, Mick Fleetwood) Paul Wetton (Robert Plant Band) and many more.
He’s toured the world with his band as well as, earlier in his career, singing and dancing in musical theatre shows where much of his concern for the plight of fellow man was awakened. Along with good communication skills gleaned from acting, he comes from a long line of clergy who taught him to be more concerned with prudence and honesty than doctrine. Jac has raised the bar considerably for contemporary Oz rock, following in the steps of other local native sons who have carved major notches in the genre over the decades. With the collaboration’s ‘all killer, no filler’ repertoire, soaring five-part harmonies, thrashing guitar climaxes - all wrapped around uplifting sentiments - assures an unforgettable performance that resonates not only across global borders, but generations. Having broken new ground with his first release, the country/rock crossover CD, ‘From Both Sides’ and received huge critical acclaim for the rock monster ‘Icarus’, Jac looks now to set the bar even higher with this 3rd album, "Powderkeg".
