The Disappearing One project was born in Fabio’s bedroom in 2006. There he wrote, arranged and played a handful of songs which later, just a few of them, ended up on a Myspace page, in order to have them listened by his friends. Therefore Marco, the bass player-to-be, pushed to look for new members and to start a band which could play these songs live. Well, in 2008 the whole thing looks no longer like a simple room-project but it is a real band now: The Disappearing One.

After almost a year spent together arranging and playing these songs around, the band gets into the studios to record them. Our debut album “Transitional Phase” will be out in early 2010, produced, recorded and mixed by TheDisappearingOne and mastered at the Sterling Studios (NY) by Steve Fallone.

in late 2010 Andrea (lead guitar) leaves the band to carry on his job as a researcher at the University of Philadelphia. Yet the band is far from splitting up. while waiting for Andrea’s return, we produced a couple of Home-recorded Ep: “Ep Room” and “Sadness is a far away guitarist” (the latter published as side project, inspired by and dedicated to our guitarist and friend Andrea). In the meantime, we kept on playing around saving money to buy some home-recording equipment and pave the way to our yen for total independence. A good way to test our new home studio and our improvement in recording and producing music came out to be “The Ends that Never End” (2011), a 10-track non-official album. This record includes some old songs, made new with alternative arrangements, and a few covers of some of the bands that we love. Here we trained our knowledge of home recording techniques, with a view to the recordings of our second official album.
In 2011 we self-produced “Several Efforts for Passionate People”, totally recorded (at home) and produced by The Disappearing One. Finally this record was mastered by P.Messere and we signed with his Label “Seahorse Recorded”.

During these very last days we are deeply focused on the writing of our third album.
