Retaliatory Measures is a frantic Death/Thrash-newcomer from Pori, Finland. The band was founded at the beginning of 2009 by guitarist Kalle Hahtamo and Vocalist Pessi Haltsonen. First Demo was released at late 2009 and it gained rather good feedback throughout music media around Europe and Finland.

After going through minor line-up changes at 2010, Retaliatory Measures founded it's current Line-up.

Later 2010, Promo-cd "MMX" was released and the major goal was to find a good publisher/Record label for possible full-lenght debut album. Band decided to sign a deal with German record label, Massacre Records. The recordings of the debut album "Withdrawal Syndromes" started right at the beginning of 2012 at Ansa studio, Ulvila, with producers Jori Haukio and Kalle Aaltonen. The album will be released on October 26th, 2012 by Massacre Records.
