Kolp was founded by Knot (Witchcraft, , Veér(Ravenshades)) in 2007.
He planned to create his music without any compromise or restriction.
In 2008 Jim Jones (Veér (Ravenshades) was invited to be vocal/lyricist for the music.
The first material'd been recorded in 2008 it was completed in 2009 and it was released by Temple of Torturous in 2010 called "The Covered Pure Permanence".
2012 November, the sophomore album The Outside is going to be released via ToT as well.
