Indian Blanket is a St. Louis folk band comprised of singer-songwriter Joe Andert, guitarist Alex Beaven, Drummer Jim Hughes, Bassist Mike Brown, and violinist Gina Eygenhuysen. Indian Blanket was named "Best Folk Band" by The Riverfront Times in 2013, and have collaborated extensively with First Aid Kit and The Lion's Daughter. On November 12th, 2013, their new record, "A Black Sea", written and recorded with St. Louis metal band The Lion's Daughter, will be released through Good Die Young Records.
