JAR OF BONES were born on 2004 in the North-east part of Italy. Five guys locked in a room with their own instruments and the need to say something to the world by their music. Cristian, Mikele , Nikola and Zeno were looking for add a guitar to the first sound of the band. They met Roby and they spent 2005 writing the 1st EP “BRAIN IN A JAR” songs. This EP has been released, too quickly on 2006. The band set off on tour in the spring of 2006, playing through the winter for fervent crowds all over the Italy. Simultaneously, however, Zeno left the band for personal problems but, fortunately Bombo knocked at the door as a bass player trusting in the band’s project, few days after Zeno left.
Since JARs started playing with Bombo, the sound changed in a newer-louder way, better appreciated by the crowds. Much of the 2007 was spent writing new material and interviewing with potential labels. The bands was eager to explore their newfound style and excited to start something stronger. Unfortunately, cracks began to tarnish the relationship between Jars and the guitar player, Roby. On November 2007, Kuzz took Roby’s place on the band giving to the JARs the final Line Up. Kuzz already knew the JAR’s music so the band was immediately ready to work together with the new guitar player. On December 2007 the band dipped into their personal funds to create the album that they wanted and needed to make. For the first time in their careers, no one was looking over their shoulder. It on was now just about JAR OF BONES and their music.
