Lo scorso venerdì è stato comunicato che: il chitarrista/cantante e co-fondatore Brent Hinds non avrebbe più fatto parte dei Mastodon.

Mentre, per il concerto che si è tenuto ieri - in occasione del Tool Live in the Sand - il suo posto è stato preso dallo YouTuber Ben Eller.
