The band HUMATOR has a past very complex and particular. In 2003 in Giardinello, a town in the province of Palermo, was born a death metal sound project by Piero Geloso and Raimondo Caltagirone. Their first band was called by another name, and became after a couple of years a established band, thanks to several live events, including one with SUFFOCATION, and other dates promotion of ex demo "Hate Incubator" and ex album "Carnasyum." The inclusion of other components in the band, in addition to Piero and Raimondo, created many dislocation, up to the birth of two band with the same name, in May 2007, after live concert with SUFFOCATION.
At the end of 2007, thus forming the new formation of the band: Raimondo Caltagirone (guitar's), Piero Geloso (drum's), Giuseppe Vitale (vocal) and Francesco Petruso (bass). The new band, recorded his first album "Anger Castles" in March 2008, a sort of remastering of ex demo "Hate Incubator" and some songs of the ex album "Carnasyum." It was a true product load of power and aggression, a brutal death metal heavy and tamped, many stop & go, tending with the passing of time, to encumber the sounds and increase the speed of songs, where new texts dealing with topics focused on certain aspects of human life. Things, however, proceeded under a total confusion, especially as regards the name of the band. A confusion that created a nuisance and unwanted juxtaposition same name with the band of Palermo, so that brought the decision to change the name from its predecessor to "Humator", thus leaving the old band name to Palermo. The "HUMATOR" in July 2008, safe now no to be mistaken for the superb band of Palermo, we are now at work on future projects. In April 2009 comes the new album "Memories from the abyss", certainly with a marking more devastating than before.
This album marks the beginning of a new adventure, highlighted in July 2009 with the entry into the band of second guitarist Antonio Console.

La band HUMATOR ha un passato alquanto complesso e particolare. Nel 2003 a Giardinello, un paese in provincia di Palermo, nacque un progetto sonoro death metal, da parte di Piero Geloso e Raimondo Caltagirone. La loro band inizialmente si chiamava con un altro nome, ed era diventata negli anni successivi una band affermata, grazie a diversi eventi live, tra cui quello con i SUFFOCATION, ed ad altre date di promozione dell’ex demo “Hate Incubator” e dell’ex album “Carnasyum”. L’inserimento però di altri componenti nella band, oltre a Piero e Raimondo, aveva iniziato a creare molti disguidi, fino ad arrivare alla nascita di due band con lo stesso nome, proprio nel Maggio del 2007, dopo il concerto con i SUFFOCATION.
Tra la fine del 2007, così si forma la nuova formazione della band: Raimondo Caltagirone (guitar's), Piero Geloso (drum's), Giuseppe Vitale (vocal) e Francesco Petruso (bass). La nuova band, incise il suo primo album “Anger Castles” nel Marzo del 2008, una sorta di rimasterizzazione dell’ex demo “Hate Incubator” e di alcuni brani dell’ex album “Carnasyum”. Si rilevò un vero prodotto carico di potenza ed aggressività; un brutal death metal pesante e pestato, molti stop & go e parti cadenzate, tendendo però, con il passare del tempo, ad appesantire le sonorità e incrementare la velocità dei brani, dove i nuovi testi trattano tematiche concentrate su alcuni aspetti di vita delle persone. Le cose però procedevano sotto una totale confusione, soprattutto per quanto riguarda il nome della band. Una confusione che creava un fastidioso e non voluto accostamento all’omonima band palermitana, tanto che portò alla decisione di cambiare il nome da quello precedente in “Humator”, lasciando così il vecchio nome alla band palermitana. Gli “HUMATOR” nel Luglio del 2008, sicuri ormai di non essere più scambiati per la band vanagloriosa, si sono messi subito a lavoro per i progetti futuri. Nell'Aprile 2009 esce il nuovo album "Memories from the abyss", di sicuro con una marcatura più devastante rispetto al passato.
Quest’ultimo album, segna l’inizio di una nuova avventura, evidenziata nel Luglio 2009 con l’entrata nella band del secondo chitarrista Antonio Console.
