Il progetto The Security Project nasce per riproporre, rielaborandola, la musica di Peter Gabriel, concentrandosi sulla discografia dei primi anni di carriera dell’artista (inclusi alcuni brani dei Genesis).

Oltre a Jerry Marotta (già sul palco con Gabriel) e Trey Gunn (King Crimson), partecipano il chitarrista Michael Cozzi, il tastierista David Jameson e il cantante Brian Cummins.

La prima release, un album dal vivo intitolato semplicemente “Live 1”, è stata pubblicata nel 2016 dall’etichetta GEP.
