Fyrnask was founded in 2008 by Fyrnd, the sole member of this project. After a demo called "Fjorvar ok Benjar" and with help of "Blutaar" (Drautran), the first full-length "Bluostar" was released via Gothenburg based label Temple of Torturous in 2011.
The sophomore and highly acclaimed album "Eldir Nótt" followed in 2013 by the same label. In 2014 the solo-project was reformed as a full band.
Blizzard (BlackShore, Nastrandir, Plage) joined on drums, Exord (Terminal Spirit, Plage) on guitar, Svipr for synthesizers, JS (Isolation) with Bass, and several gigs in Europe were played in this line-up.
In 2015/16 Fyrnask joined forces with Ván Records.
"Fórn" was recorded & mixed in Dinspel by Gerard Mannigel and mastered by Patrick W. Engel at Temple of Disharmony. Artwork & Layout were created by Glyn Smyth.
