Anialator was formed in 1986 by ex - Devastation bassist Alex Dominguez.

Thrash metal was just starting to get popular in Corpus Christi , Texas thanks to bands like Devastation (Tx) and Angor Wat. Finding musician's into this style of music was a task. More thrash metal shows kept coming through Corpus Christi and the underground scene kept growing.

Alex Dominguez finally met people who were into the same bands as he. Anialator was born. After many months of rehearsals Anialator entered Koda Music and recorded their 4 song self titled demo.

Just 6 months after the demo was released Anialator signed with a small California label called WildRags Records. While on Wildrags the band released its self titled EP Anialator (1988), Anialator II , and a picture disc (1989). The band decided to change their name to Sufferance in 1990.

Anialator reformed in late 2015. Since reforming, the band has released its back catalogue on CD called Mission of Death that was released in 2017 by Xtreem Music. Xtreem Music has also agreed to release new music from Anialator in 2018 in the form of a 5 song EP entitled Rise to Supremacy.
