Jim Peterik and World Stage arose from the initial idea that the musical and spiritual collaboration of great artists and friends could be something truly special. The resulting album clearly displays the many talents of Jim Peterik (Survivor and and many many more cooperation as composer and musician ... now also a part of Pride of Lions with vocalist Toby Hitchcock), enhanced and embellished by a cast of noted singers and musicians.
“Winds Of Change” is the follow-up to Jim Peterik’s now legendary “Jim Peterik’s World Stage” album. and is another musical masterpiece featuring brand new Peterik songs in collaboration with a who’s who of melodic rock’s greatest superstars, including Kevin Chalfant (ex-The Storm), Dennis DeYoung (ex-Styx), Matthew and Gunnar Nelson, Kelly Keagy (Night Ranger), Lars Safsund and Robert Sall (Work Of Art), Toby Hitchcock (Pride Of Lions), Danny Vaughn (Tyketto), Mike Reno (Loverboy), Kevin Cronin (REO Speedwagon), Jason Scheff (ex-Chicago), and a very special previously unreleased track by the late great Jimi Jamison.
The concept behind the new album "Tigress: Women Who Rock The World" is that Jim wanted to showcase women in music whom he admires.
The album shows contributionss of Janet Gardner (ex-Vixen), Cathy Richardson (Jefferson Starship), Jenniffer Batten, Mindi Abair, Kate French, Kimi Hayes, Chez Kane, Rosa Laricchiuta (Black Rose Maze, Trans-Siberian Orchestra), and so many others newcomers like Lindsay Kent, Leslie Hunt, Chloe Lowery e Marine Lacoste.
The new "Roots and Shoots" album (out January 12th, 2024 on Frontiers Music) is equally divided between Roots (classic rock stars) and Shoots (emerging rock stars).
In addition to Kevin Cronin and REO Speedwagon, Vol. 1's notable guests include: Kelly Keagy (Night Ranger), Don Barnes (.38 Special), Mark Farner (Grand Funk), alongside emerging talents like Colin Peterik (Jim's son!), Ashton Brooke Gill, Paul Childers, Leslie Hunt, Mark Mackay, and a captivating duet between Dave Mikulskis and Lisa McClowry.
"Roots & Shoots Vol.2" out August 2024 on Frontiers Music Srl. presents Jim’s collaborations with Mike Reno, Jason Scheff, Toby Hitchcock, The Ides of March, Cathy Richardson (Jefferson Starship) and Neil Donnell (of Chicago). Among the “Shoots,” Sophia Sheth and Kevin Farris.
