"Big E" comes from a nick name lots of folks have called front man Eric Whittington over the years. Not sure whay that is, come to think of it, since he's not a big guy. Played drums as a kiddo, and in his 20s took up blues harp (aka harmonica) after catching the bug by hearing amazing musicians like Kim Wilson and Charlie Musselwhite. Started a band around 2003 called the Boogiemen with budddy Kinney Huron. Later gave up drums to front a new band called Exit 314, focused on blues-rock and southern rock. Finally decided to plunge into doing some original stuff which will be informed and inspired by the blues but won't be a "traditional" blues record. Let the adventure begin..
