Trial By Combat, is an American extreme metal band residing in the Bay Area, California.
Band was formed in Santa Rosa CA in 2008, by Jesse Grossman(bass). Jesse Palmer/Guitar & Sam Keegan(drums) and Aaron Dudley(guitar).
They played as a four piece until late 2010, when Grossman decided he wanted to focus on playing more and do backup vocals, so they brought in frontman Dashiel McKenzie (formerly of Northbay Thrash band Vindicate) to handle the vocal duties. Dashiel had a handful of practices with the band, when he went into the studio to record vocals for the then untitled "Usurp The Throne" EP. After the EP, Sam left the band to further his killer guitar playing. They then brought in Eric Ford formerly of Seeds Of Hate, to thrash his drum kit (who left the band in late 2015) and record the "Theater Of War" EP & video for the title track in 2013.
In November of 2015, after trying a couple drummers out, TBC found machine gun speed Double Bass Wizard Nathan Garlick.
