I Suicide Silence sono una band Deathcore formata da 5 elementi di Riverside, California. Dopo l'EP omonimo del 2006, riescono ad ottenere un contratto con la Century Media Records. Il loro primo album, The Cleansing (2007), registrato con l'acclamato produttore John Travis (Static X) e Tue Madsen (The Haunted) al mixaggio, debutta al N° 94 di Billboard, facendo diventare i Suicide Silence la band alla posizione più alta al debutto per la Century Media. Nel 2009 esce il successivo No Time to Bleed, seguito due anni dopo da The Black Crown. Il 10 settembre 2012 il gruppo annuncia di aver firmato con la Nuclear Blast e, il 1º novembre dello stesso anno viene resa nota la morte del cantante, Mitch Lucker, in seguito ad un incidente motociclistico. Verrà sostituito dal vocalist degli All Shall Perish: Hernan "Eddie" Hermida. Nel 2014 viene rilasciato il quarto album in studio, You Can't Stop Me. L'eponimo Suicide Silence nel 2017 sarà l'ultimo con alla batteria Alex Lopez: Become the Hunter arriva tre anni dopo e, al suo posto, vede Ernie Iniguez, il quale diventerà membro permanente nel 2022. Fanno ritorno alla Century Media Records che, nel 2023, pubblicherà il sesto full-length: Remember… You Must Die.
