Outloud was formed in 2008 featuring Bob Katsionis (Firewind, ex-Nightfall) on Guitar and Keyboards, Mark Cross on Drums (Tainted Nation, ex-Firewind, Helloween, Kingdom Come), Bob's student Tony Kash on guitar and dynamic New York-based singer Chandler Mogel (Talon). They released their self-titled debut album on Frontiers Records in August 2009 and gained outstanding reviews from the international press scoring an average 8.7/10.

However the band’s history dates back to 2004 in Athens, Greece, when young Tony Kash started taking guitar lessons from Bob Katsionis of the band FIREWIND. Tony was a kid born to rock and was constantly coming up with great riffs and song ideas that led Bob to record some demos, which evolved into full blown songs themselves. It was then determined that a strong melodic voice would be needed to do them justice. Bob remembered someone he had met in New York during one of FIREWIND's US tours who fit the bill of what he and Tony were looking for...
