Oriz is a new melodic metal band from SWEDEN formed in late 2009 by the music producer/multi-musician Alexander Oriz from Huskvarna, Sweden. All members of ORIZ are very talented musicians who have alot of musical experiences in different metal bands. Some of the members of ORIZ have been touring abroad and also been support act for larger bands such as (Paul Dianno Ex-Iron Maiden) and (White Lion). Most of the members also has degrees in the music business. The music ORIZ delivers are influenced by melodic classic hardrock/heavy metal from the 70-80's especially bands like Rainbow, Deep Purple, Whitesnake but also newer bands such as Jorn, Gotthard, Edguy and more. ORIZ signed a deal for the their self-titled album with the small label Blue Topaz Records in 2010 but due to poor distribution channells they wanted find a new label for their 2nd studio album.
