The Hounds Of Hasselvander was founded in 2007 out of the solo career of Joe Hasselvander which was started in 1984 after leaving Pentagram with the release of Joe Hasselvander "Lady-Killer" on Dutch East Records (NY). Album #2 came in 1986 with the release of Joe Hasselvander "RoadKill". Joined Raven in 1987 as their drummer, recording albums and touring the world for twenty years. Resurrected the former solo career in 2007 under the H.O.H. moniker by a suggestion from the legendary Julian Cope, with the release of "The Hounds Of Hasselvander" on German Label Rock Saviour Records. In 2008 an EP was released entitled "Further Torments Of The SG" exclusively on vinyl as a collectors item to help fuel the new resurgence of vinyl as an audio fetish item. In late 2010 a contract was signed with Black Widow and Bloodrock Records (Italy) for "The Ninth Hour". Another album was recorded in tandem with "The Ninth Hour" entitled "Ancient Rocks" featuring obscure cover songs from the late 1960's and early 1970's that influenced the band members early on in life.
