KLOGR (pronounced Kay - log - are) is an Italian rock band formed in 2011 which can be further broken down into the genres of alternative rock and alternative metal.
The band's name is a reference to the law of Weber-Fechner, developed in the second half of the 800s, which is known as the fundamental psycho-physical relationship (S = K log R).
The project, led by Gabriele "Rusty" Rustichelli (producer at ZetaFactory Studios), develops a powerful sound that draws energy from a philosophy that challenges the contemporary culture, where every sense is cleverly used against men in the name of profit. When June of 2011 came about, the group began recording their debut album at the ZetaFactory Studios. The former lineup was Italo-American: along side of Rusty, Nicola Briganti (guitars), Todd Allen (bass)
and Filippo De Pietri (drums).
From that point on, Klogr captured the attention of the public and aroused much curiousity among professionals and fans by publishing several viral videos, showing the progress of the band in the studio.
11-11-11 brought the world premier of the band's live show and the release of 'Till You Decay'. The band performed the new album in it's entirety and was received with much enthusiasm and support from fans. In January 2012, Klogr set off on a promotional West Coast tour of the United States (12 gigs).
In June 2012, after several dates back in Italy, KLOGR embarked on France mini-tour and were, once by the concert goers and music enthusiasts, confirming the interest of the project in Europe.
During September 2012 began a productive collaboration with the Italian alternative band named "Timecut" and Klogr focused on a new EP titled "Till You Turn". The Ep is the second work for Klogr which explores new sounds and contains 4 tracks rich of several interesting collaborations: 2 songs produced by Olly Riva (The Fire), a featuring with Maki (Lacuna Coil bass player), 2 songs produced by Dysfunction and mixed by Logan Mader (Machine Head / Soulfly), a featuring with Paolo Valli on drums.
With the release of 'Till You Turn' (November 2012), KLOGR began a new chapter of the band and invited Timecut to participate in the project backing up Rusty.
This led to a whole new energy and momentum of the band that can be seen and experienced when they are on stage. Together, this massively talented band is shaping up to be one of the most interesting live acts of the Italian and International independent scene.
A special edition of "Till You Turn" (limited to 150 pieces) has been released on USB drive; the drive includes 7 songs (4 unpublished + 3 live tracks) and the whole video of 11-11-11 Ground Zero Show.
The Ep was presented Live in November 2012 as a preview for the tour that took place between December 2012 and January 2013.
After a few short stops with concerts in Belgium and Holland, Klogr departed for the European promotion with a first tour to France-Germany (March 2013) followed by a tour in Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Finland (April 2013) to end up the season with the prestigious performance at Sweden Rock Festival (June 7).
In may 2013 a video release in support of Sea Shepherd (track extracted from the Ep); the video has been shared worldwide as a fundraiser for the Association.
Since summer 2013 Klogr have been working in studio on the release of the new album which is planned for February 2014.
During November 2013 will be published a new video shot at Sweden Rock Festival featuring Alteria (Rock TV) who has been Klogr's guest on stage.
In March / April 2014 will start the promotional tour for the new album that will see Klogr as openig act for the American band Prong.
In May 2015 Klogr come back with a new EP+DVD bundle: "Make your Stand" containing original tracks and live and studio documentaries.
