Tantara è una giovane band proveniente da Tønsberg, Norvegia. La band ha visto la luce nel 2009 quando il batterista Stian Sannerud ed il chitarrista Fredrik Bjerkø decisero di trasformare il loro progetto di "Talent Show" in una band reale. I due amici allora hanno reclutato il chitarrista Per Semb, col quale avevano gia’ suonato e nell’aprile 2011 la line-up si completava con il talentuoso bassista Max Warnby.
Nell’agosto 2010 i Tantara registrano il loro primo EP che viene pubblicato piu’ tardi nello stesso anno. Il progetto per registrare un vero album comincio’ dopo che l’EP fu pubblicato e la band si mise alla ricerca del giusto produttore. I Tantara rientrarono in studio nel luglio 2011 per registrare il loro a lungo atteso album di debutto con il leggendario produttore Flemming Rasmussen.

Tantara is a young band from Tønsberg, Norway. The band saw the light of day in 2009 when drummer Stian Sannerud and guitarist Fredrik Bjerkø decided to turn their project “talent show” into a real band. The two friends then recruited the guitarist Per Semb, whom they had played with before and in April 2011 the line-up was complete with the very talented bassist Max Warnby.
In August 2010 Tantara recorded their first EP that was released later that same year. The plans to make a full-length record began right after the EP was released and the band started the search for the right producer. Tantara entered the studio again in July 2011 to record their long anticipated debut album with the legendary producer Flemming Rasmussen.
