The Morning Is For Sleeping formed in may, 2011, gathering musicians from different bands who had been up and doing for several years in the musical survey of Latina and surroundings. After an initial period of setting in, during which they also passed through some tough moments, the band finally finds its own way, paradoxically an amount of the different previous musicial experiences of each member of the group. Punk sounds and melodies find their natural fulfillment in metal’ speeds and variations and, in addiction, a clean, clear, pop voice makes its way. The result of this genre-mixing is The Morning Is For Sleeping music: under the cover of an ironic monicker we find a melodic post-hardcore sound where cruelty meets melody, not leaving out inspiration and fantasy but always with an eye to metalcore.

In May, 2012 Marco, Alessio, Ilian, Jacopo e Marco started the recording of their first homonymous EP. Seven tracks that tell us the band’s exponential growth and describe The Morning Is For Sleeping project at their best. The “The Morning Is For Sleeping” EP was recorded analogically in Kick Recording Studio (guitars and bass) and in Matteo Gabbianelli’s Kutso Noise Home (drums, voice and mastering).
